R&D Excavating wins $896,845 bid to raze West Park Shopping Center

R&D Excavating of Crestline will demolish most of the 17-acre West Park Shopping Center under a $896,845 bid approved by the Richland County Land Bank. Work follows a 10-day notice to Ohio EPA, starting with fencing and asbestos removal. Co-owner Ryan Lykins expects buildings down by year's end. The land bank also paid Ohio Edison up to $18,000 to remove utility poles and lines.
