Belvedere permits Mallard Pointe demolition, 22 units to make way for 40 new residences

Belvedere has issued a demolition permit for the Mallard Pointe project at 1-22 Mallard Road, clearing the way to replace 22 existing residences with 40 new units. Developers must give residents a 60-day notice to vacate, then complete demolition within 75 days. Work also requires removing and replacing waterfront bulkheads, which cannot start until a separate bulkhead permit is issued, with completion required by Oct. 15 under state environmental rules.
