Demolition permit filed for 738 W. South Temple site of 169-unit Gregory in Salt Lake City

Great Lakes Capital, an Indiana-based developer, has filed for a demolition permit for The Gregory at 738 W. South Temple in Salt Lake City, clearing a two-floor masonry building and a metal warehouse currently used by a towing company. The $20,000 job covers 6,300 square feet and could run Jan. 10 to Feb. 10. The site would become a six-story, 169-unit affordable apartment building; a separate commercial building permit remains under city review.
