Building demolished as crews respond to 3-alarm fire in downtown Salt Lake City

A vacant building near 356 West and 700 South in downtown Salt Lake City was demolished after a 3-alarm fire made it unsafe for firefighters to enter. About 50 fire personnel responded Sunday night, evacuating four apartments near The Hendrey. No injuries were reported, and the fire's cause remains under investigation.
