Selective demolition is underway on the 1908 Roche de Boeuf bridge in Waterville, Ohio, with the Ohio Department of Transportation handling the work under a June agreement with the city and the Save the Bridge Association. Crews are removing concrete walls to leave only the arch outlines, working from a custom rock causeway built into the river, at a cost of about $4 million covered by ODOT.
