Euclid School demolition prep begins in St. Louis as district awaits permit

St. Louis Public Schools says crews will begin stabilizing the former Euclid School on Friday while the district waits for the city to issue a demolition permit. The building in north St. Louis has sat vacant since 2007 and was further damaged in a May 2025 tornado. Some residents and preservationists oppose the demolition.
