Former Donut Connection building demolished in New Kensington to make way for Chipotle

The former Donut Connection building on Tarentum Bridge Road in New Kensington was demolished Thursday, clearing the site for a Chipotle. The developer received a demolition permit Wednesday, city clerk John Zavadak said. Parking lot grading is expected next, though a timeline wasn't given. Chipotle spokesperson Jaden Hall said the location is scheduled to open next year.
