Former Dunkin' razed in Stroudsburg, PA, for YMCA's $21 million expansion

Crews demolished the former Dunkin' at 823 Main St. in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, on Sept. 3, clearing the site for Pocono Family YMCA's $21 million expansion. A hydraulic excavator tore down the building while workers sprayed debris with water to control dust, dismantling walls, ceilings, windows, doors and HVAC equipment. YMCA President and CEO Scott Peckins said the project follows four decades of planning. A groundbreaking ceremony is set for Sept. 14 at 2 p.m.
