Demolition begins at 350 Park Avenue in Manhattan for 1,414-foot supertall

Crews have begun demolition at 350 Park Avenue in Midtown East, Manhattan, clearing the site for a 1,414-foot, 64-story supertall designed by Foster + Partners for developers Vornado Realty Trust, Rudin, and Ken Griffin. The existing 30-story tower, plus adjacent buildings at 40 East 52nd Street and 39 East 51st Street, are being stripped of windows and facade panels ahead of interior gutting. The $4.5 billion project, approved by City Council in September 2025, will yield 1.8 million square feet of office space anchored by Citadel, with completion targeted for 2032.
