Bowery Market razed in Manhattan for 25-story tower at 56 Great Jones St

Demolition has begun at the Bowery and Great Jones Street in Manhattan, where Lonicera Partners is clearing 348, 350 and 352 Bowery for a 25-story residential tower with ground-floor retail at 56 Great Jones St. The former Bowery Market is already down, and asbestos abatement notices have appeared at its two neighbors. Plans call for 94 apartments, including 27 affordable units.
