Demolition nearly finished at 168 North Clinton Street in West Loop, Chicago

Demolition of the vintage loft office building at 168 North Clinton Street in Chicago’s West Loop is in its final stages, with only a rear portion along the alley off West Lake Street still standing. Atlas Industries began work in May after receiving permits in January, razing the structure from the north façade toward Clinton Street, with the full teardown expected to take three months. Crews have worked to protect neighboring structures, including a two-story masonry building and the CTA headquarters across the alley.
