Demolition starts at 201 East 84th Street for 300,000-square-foot UES tower

Demolition has started at 201 East 84th Street on Manhattan's Upper East Side, clearing the way for a roughly 300,000-square-foot residential building. Legion Investment Group, led by Victor Sigoura, is developing the project with SMA Equities after securing a $99 million acquisition loan from BDT & MSD Partners and Deutsche Bank. The site was assembled over nearly 20 years.
