Site prep is underway at the former Regency Square Mall in Arlington, part of Jacksonville, Florida, ahead of parking lot demolition. Urban Partners Construction is handling the work for developer Blackwater Development LLC, which plans to redevelop the site as The Nexus at Regency. The city issued a site-clearing permit April 6 valued at nearly $3.7 million, covering asphalt, sidewalk, curb and utility removal, following March 26 approval of civil engineering and sketch plans for eight outparcels along Atlantic Boulevard and Monument Road.
