ELEV8 Demolition nears finish on 189,796-square-foot Sears at Orange Park Mall

ELEV8 Demolition crews are tearing down the former Sears store at Orange Park Mall in Orange Park, Florida, a 189,796-square-foot building vacated by the retailer in 2020. Work began in early September and is using excavators to separate steel and other recyclable material from construction debris, with loads hauled by dump truck and semi-truck to recycling centers. The site will become Orange Park Place, anchored by a Sprouts Farmers Market and other retail stores.
