Demolition starts at former Dee Lite Bakery site in Honolulu for 150-unit housing project

Demolition began Aug. 3 at the former Dee Lite Bakery property at 1907 Eluwene St. in Honolulu, clearing the site for a roughly 150-unit affordable housing project near the future Mokauea Skyline Station. RHS Lee is performing the demolition, expected to take about one month depending on weather and site conditions, with dust suppression, heavy equipment and intermittent noise anticipated but minimal traffic impact.
