Seaspray condos demolition begins Sept. 28 in Ocean City, N.J., 43-unit project to follow

Demolition kicks off Sept. 28 on the vacant Seaspray condominiums at Bay Avenue and 34th Street in Ocean City, N.J., shuttered since the city declared them structurally unsafe. The HOW Group, of Conshohocken, Pa., which bought the site for nearly $6 million, will build a 43-unit, four-story replacement with 87 covered parking spaces, a green roof and pool. Construction is tentatively planned for early 2027 and would take 18 months, with pricing announced in November.
